New Zealand would be hosting India for an all-format tour from October 22 to December 1, later this year. India’s tour to New Zealand will feature five T20Is, five ODIs and two Tests to be played across five major venues, making it the most number of international matches played ever by a touring side on New Zealand soil.
India’s tour of New Zealand will begin with a five-match T20I series. The first two games will be played at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on October 22 and 24. The remaining matches will be held in Wellington (October 27), Auckland (October 30) and Hamilton (November 1).
After a two-day break, the ODI series will get underway in Auckland on November 4. The second ODI will be played in Wellington on November 7, followed by Hamilton on November 10. The final two ODIs are scheduled for Mount Maunganui on November 13 and 15.
The two-match Test series will start in Wellington on November 19, with the second and final Test beginning in Christchurch on November 27.
The last time these two teams met in a Test series, New Zealand stunned India with a 3-0 clean sweep on Indian soil in late 2024. It was the first time India swept away in a home Test series of three or more games.
