Following the cancellation of the fourth Twenty20 International between South Africa and India due to fog, the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) stated on Thursday that spectator ticket prices would be fully refunded.
Due to poor vision caused by a thick layer of smog that blanketed Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium on Wednesday, the match, which was supposed to begin at 7 p.m., was ultimately canceled at 9:30 p.m. following the sixth inspection.
“Spectators who booked tickets online will receive a refund of the ticket amount through their original mode of payment,” Prem Manohar Gupta, secretary of UPCA, said in a release.
“Refund-related notifications will be sent to the registered email addresses. Ticket holders are advised to regularly monitor their emails for further updates.”
