New Zealand bowler Blair Tickner will miss the remainder of the third Test match against England due to a concussion, the team announced on Friday.

After being hit on the helmet by Jofra Archer, the 32-year-old, who was playing at number ten, bowled three wicketless overs before choosing not to return to the field after tea because of nausea. Zak Foulkes replaced him.

“Blair Tickner has been ruled out of the remainder of the third Test against ‌England at Trent Bridge with concussion after being struck on the helmet while batting in the first innings, Zak Foulkes has been named as Tickner’s replacement,” New Zealand cricket said on X.

In the Test series decider at Trent Bridge, England concluded the second day at 223/2, trailing New Zealand by 215 runs.
