1st ODI: Persistent rain forces toss delay in India-Afghanistan opener

The first ODI between Afghanistan and India in Dharamsala on Saturday was delayed due to heavy rains.

The toss was scheduled for 1:00 PM local time, however persistent rain prevented it from happening.

After winning the one-off Test in Mullanpur earlier this week by an innings and 300 runs, India, under the captaincy of Shubman Gill, are hoping to maintain their dominance.

In their four ODI encounters, India has a 3-0 advantage over Afghanistan, with one match ending in a tie.
