Rahul Dravid’s son Anvay to lead Karnataka in Vinoo Mankad Trophy

The legendary Rahul Dravid’s son, Anvay Dravid, will captain Karnataka in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy this season, which will take place in Dehradun from October 9 to 17.

During the last edition of the tournament, 16-year-old Anvay was the state’s top scorer.

India international Karun Nair will play for Karnataka after a two-season break after being selected in the state squad for the first Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra, which starts in Rajkot on October 15.

Prior to this season, Karun returned to the state squad from Vidarbha, where he was instrumental in the team’s successful Ranji Trophy campaign the previous year. Previously, the middle-order batter was listed as one of the probables.

Karnataka, which has added some new players like Mohsin Khan, Shikhar Shetty, and Kruthika Krishna, will still be led by Mayank Agarwal.
