PKL: UP Yoddhas edge Bengaluru Bulls 6-6 in tie-breaker

In the Pro Kabaddi League in Jaipur on Thursday, UP Yoddhas recorded their second consecutive victory by defeating Bengaluru Bulls 6-5 in the tie-breaker.

At Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium, the score was tied 36-36 in regulation time, forcing the game into a tie-breaker.

With ten points, Bhavani Rajput led the UP team. He was well-supported by players like Guman Singh (3), Ashu Singh (4), Sumit Sangwan (4), and Gagan Gowda (6).

On September 29, UP Yoddhas will play Gujarat Giants in New Delhi, while on October 2, Bengaluru Bulls will play Puneri Paltan.

In the first half, the Bulls had a slim 20-19 advantage, and the game was hanging in the balance. But with two all-out points and seven tackles, the Yoddhas rallied to score 17 points in the following 20 minutes.

Together with one Super Raid, the Yoddhas achieved a 44.68% raid strike rate and a 38.3% raid success rate. On defense, their tackle success percentage of 42.86% was significantly higher than their opponents’ 36.67%.
