PKL: Shinde, Inamdar shine as Puneri Paltan beat Bengal Warriorz

Puneri Paltan defeated Bengal Warriorz 45-36 at the Vishwanadh Sports Club in Vizag on Wednesday, extending their winning streak in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12.

Aditya Shinde’s Super 10, Vishal Bhardwaj’s High Five, and captain Aslam Inamdar’s all-around skill helped them win for the third time in a row this season.

Paltan started the game by establishing superiority with shrewd raiding from Shinde and Inamdar. The captain’s incredible Super Raid changed the tide early on, giving the Paltans a 13–9 lead after ten minutes. Warriorz responded with an ALL OUT of their own to stay in the game after Puneri inflicted an ALL OUT in the ninth minute, despite Devank Dalal’s valiant 17 points. The Paltan led 26–22 at the half.

Puneri tightened their hold in the second half as Vishal Bhardwaj skillfully commanded the defense as Shinde finished his Super 10. Parteek’s ejection in the 14th minute caused a second ALL OUT, which increased the lead. Pankaj Mohite then added crucial raid points to end the match.

Devank pushed passed a Super 10 despite the Warriorz’s valiant efforts, but Puneri’s defensive tenacity kept them ahead by nine points till the very end. With their 45-36 victory, the Paltans confirmed their impressive start to PKL Season 12.
