
The Haryana Steelers defeated the Telugu Titans 45–34 thanks to a strong performance at Delhi’s Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium on Wednesday. With his quick points and incisive raids, Shivam Patare was instrumental in the Steelers’ early success. As the game went on, Vinay led the assault while the defense remained resolute and repeatedly thwarted the Titans’ attempts to retaliate.
With an outstanding tackle by Hardeep, the Haryana Steelers took the lead early in the game and earned the first point. Soon after, they put pressure on the Telugu Titans by claiming a bonus in the subsequent raid, adding another point.
But the Titans reacted swiftly, and Bharat’s successful raid opened their account. The Titans quickly started to control the game with a good all-around effort after that point gave them momentum. They took control of the game with a 6-4 advantage in the first five minutes.
The Titans kept up their pressure and dealt a serious blow by forcing an ALL OUT, increasing their lead to six points. The Haryana Steelers, however, were not going to give up. With shrewd and successful raids, Shivam Patare spearheaded the comeback and assisted his team in cutting the deficit to 10–8.
The Steelers reduced the deficit to just one point at 11-10 at the end of the first half by strengthening their defense and applying constant pressure to the Titans.
When play started up again, the Haryana Steelers were determined to win, and they swiftly did so by giving the Telugu Titans an ALL OUT. They took a slim 14–13 lead thanks to that outstanding effort.
Both teams continuously traded points through a combination of incisive raids and strong tackles, keeping the game equally balanced. The Steelers led 21–20 at the end of the first half, giving them a narrow advantage. Bharat was the Telugu Titans’ best player during this phase, finishing his Super 10 with a string of astute and self-assured raids.
Both teams were playing with tremendous vigor as the second half got underway, matching one another point for point and not letting up. Before Mayank Saini’s outstanding two-point raid gave the Haryana Steelers a much-needed lead, the game was still close.
The Steelers continued to dominate in both attack and defense after that raid, which turned the tide decisively in their favor. They quickly extended their lead by giving the Telugu Titans an ALL OUT, demonstrating that their all-around effort had paid off. The Haryana Steelers had a 34–26 lead and were well in control by the time the Strategic Time Out was called in the second half.
Both teams kept trading points after the game resumed, but the Haryana Steelers were able to maintain their lead. Vinay was playing well, finishing his Super 10 and giving his team valuable points. The Steelers’ leadership only increased as they inflicted another ALL OUT, increasing their lead to 43–29 and making the outcome certain.
The Haryana Steelers won the game by a significant margin, demonstrating their all-around strength and consistency while remaining composed and in control till the very end.
