The Telugu Titans quickly got going and put pressure on the reigning champs.
Their team led 6-0 early on when Hooda set the tone with a multi-point raid and Malik responded with a two-point raid of his own. Vinay gave the Steelers a bonus point to start the scoring as they were having trouble settling into a rhythm.
Thanks to a tackle by Ajit Pawar, the Titans quickly inflicted their first ALL OUT. Hooda didn’t make a mistake as his squad maintained their dominance, and Ankit’s tackle increased their lead to thirteen points.
In the end, the Haryana Steelers proved themselves and managed to get back into this match. Rahul Ahri’s Super Tackle and Mayank Saini’s Super Raid enabled them cut the gap to eight points.
Before Vinay made it a two-point game with an ALL OUT, Shivam Patare then made an impression on both ends of the mat. Hooda did not take a break, though, as he successfully finished his Super 10 with a Do-Or-Die raid.
With the score at 26-16, the all-round player nearly single-handedly secured the Telugu Titans’ second ALL OUT at the end of halftime, reclaiming their ten-point lead. He was unstoppable in both offense and defense.
The Telugu Titans maintained their momentum throughout the second half despite having a sizable advantage. Hooda continued to play a significant role as Malik started to contribute to his cause.
Jaideep Dahiya’s Super Tackle briefly reduced the deficit to 12 points, but the Titans quickly scored a third ALL OUT to make it 17 points.
The Titans had a huge lead and were in total control of the game in the last quarter, so it was just a formality. Ankit, Avi Duhan, and Shubham Shinde all recorded tackles, making the outcome of the match certain.
