PKL 12 playoffs and final set to take place in Delhi

The Pro Kabaddi League’s organizers said on Friday that the Thyagaraj Stadium in New Delhi would host both the playoffs and the championship match this season.

On October 11, season 12’s Delhi leg gets underway. The Delhi leg takes place at the conclusion of one of the PKL’s most competitive seasons.

Since the local team, Dabang Delhi KC, is leading the points table and has already guaranteed a place in the top eight, the battle for the final seven positions will remain intensely competitive and exciting for the supporters.

The play-ins, where the teams ranked fifth through eighth will battle for survival, will take place on October 25 following the conclusion of the Delhi leg on October 23.

From there, the winners will advance to the playoffs. After that, a series of qualifiers and eliminators will take place during the October 26–29 playoffs, which will end on October 31 with the grand finals.

All 12 teams will have a more difficult and challenging journey to the PKL trophy thanks to the new system, which includes the play-ins.

With more teams remaining in the running for longer thanks to the new system, the league stage will be more intense and provide fans with more high-stakes games to watch.

The competition for table spots is fiercer than ever since, although all teams strive for qualifying, the clubs that place in the top two stand to gain the most.
