IPL 2026: Ravindra Jadeja returns to Rajasthan Royals, meets Vaibhav Sooryavanshi – Watch

Before the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) edition, seasoned all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has returned to the Rajasthan Royals, the team where he initially established himself in the competition.

The 37-year-old Jadeja was spotted having a happy moment with 14-year-old batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi during the Royals’ pre-season training camp.

The seasoned all-rounder greeted the young player pleasantly and inquired about his recent performance in the DY Patil T20 event in Mumbai in a video that the team posted on social media.

The Rajasthan Royals titled the video, “Jab Vaibhav Sooryavanshi met Banna,” highlighting a sweet moment between the teenaged prodigy and the seasoned campaigner.

For the franchise, Jadeja’s arrival in the camp also became a memorable occasion.

In a different video that RR posted, the star all-rounder was welcomed with open arms when he joined the team on March 10. This was an emotional return home after over 20 years.

As part of a significant commercial agreement involving Sam Curran and Sanju Samson, he returned to Rajasthan. Jadeja and Curran switched to the Royals, while Samson went to CSK.

The team backed Riyan Parag to captain the team in IPL 2026, despite rumors that Jadeja might take control following his return.
