IPL 2026: Rajasthan Royals’ Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashes water pipeline during training – Watch

14-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made an impression during the Rajasthan Royals’ pre-season training at their High Performance Center in Nagpur when he broke a water pipe with a ferocious shot.

With a fierce shot, Sooryavanshi struck a water pipe at the plant, shattering it and resulting in a leak.

Rajasthan Royals posted a video of the damage on their official social media account with the remark, “Just Sooryavanshi things.”

The teen reportedly skipped his board examinations earlier this week in order to concentrate on pre-season training for the 2026 Indian Premier League.

With the Royals, Sooryavanshi made his IPL debut in 2025. In seven games, he scored 252 runs at an average of 36.00 and a strike rate of 206.55.

The prodigy has participated in 18 T20 matches overall, scoring 701 runs at an average of 41.23 and a strike rate of 204.37, including three hundreds and one fifty.

In seven matches earlier this month, he scored 439 runs at a strike rate of 169.49 and an average of 62.71 to help Team India win the U19 World Cup 2026. He recorded a century and three fifties in India’s successful campaign.
