India and Pakistan matches in the recent years have turned into lopsided affairs with the Men in Blue having a clear edge over their arch-rivals. The statistics don’t lie with India dominating in T20Is and the T20 World Cup.
In T20Is overall, India have registered 12 wins in 16 matches between the two teams. In T20 World Cup, India have dominated Pakistan, losing just once in eight encounters. India’s only defeat in the T20 World Cup came in the 2021 edition where Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam scripted a 10-wicket win for Pakistan in Dubai. India’s domination over Pakistan in the T20 World Cup would give them an advantage when both teams clash in the T20 World Cup 2026 group stage match, on February 15. The build-up to the match was dramatic with Pakistan threatening to pull out of the tournament and
later agreeing to play against India in the Sunday blockbuster at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
