How Rishabh Pant is using his injury break to reset mind and body

Rishabh Pant’s aggressive stroke play has frequently turned games upside down, whether it’s counterattacking in a crisis or launching a full-scale attack on the bowlers. The dashing batsman-wicketkeeper is currently taking full advantage of his injury recovery by doing things that help his body and mind recover.

Due to his inability to recuperate from a foot ailment, the southpaw, who turned 28 on Saturday, October 4, has not been considered for the current Test series against the West Indies. Pant’s new pastime continues to amuse his followers. He recently revealed on social media trying his hand at golf, a sport that naturally fits his skill set.

After suffering a fractured left foot on the first day of the fourth Test in Manchester in July, Pant, who was Shubman Gill’s deputy during the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy series in England, has been going to strength and conditioning workouts ever since.

Before Pant is allowed to continue batting and keeping, he is awaiting additional information from the BCCI medical team. A specific date for his comeback to on-field activity has not yet been established.

India will go to Australia for a white ball series starting on October 19 following the West Indies series.

In Pant’s absence, Dhruv Jurel achieved his first Test century and kept wickets against the West Indies in the first Test.
