According to PCB sources on Friday, the Australian cricket team will go to Pakistan in late May to play a three-match ODI series in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
The series is a component of the deal between Cricket Australia (CA) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which allowed the Australian T20 team to play three games in Lahore prior to the T20 World Cup.
Although the tour’s specifics are still being finalized by Cricket Australia, the games are expected to take place between May 30 and June 5.
The Australian team will travel from Pakistan to Bangladesh for an ODI series on June 9, according to the source.
Due to some of its key players recovering from injury or being rested for the T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka, Cricket Australia sent a depleted team to Pakistan for the Twenty20 matches.
In the end, Australia’s performance in the T20 World Cup was poor.
Following the completion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan will tour Bangladesh for a two-Test series between May 8 and May 20. However, their most significant assignment this year is a three-Test series in England in August and September as part of the ICC World Test Championship.
