Roger Federer’s incredible legacy has reached yet another significant milestone this time off the court. The 103-time tour-level champion has demonstrated his enormous success outside of tennis by formally joining the esteemed Forbes World’s Billionaires List.
Federer, one of the few sportsmen in history to become a billionaire through a combination of athletic achievement, endorsements, and commercial endeavors, is listed on the 2026 ranking after amassing an estimated worth of almost $1.1 billion, according to Forbes.
LeBron James, Tiger Woods, and Federer are among the few sportsmen on this year’s list who have earned more than $1 billion. His inclusion on the list also shows an increasing number of players who, in addition to their playing careers, amass substantial fortune through commercial interests and entrepreneurship.
Federer continues to have one of the most impressive resumes on the court. The 44-year-old won 20 major championships and held the top spot in the ATP Rankings for 310 weeks, including a record 237 straight. In addition, he won the ATP Finals six times and won 28 ATP Masters 1000 titles.
The Swiss player, who also co-founded the Laver Cup, participated in an exhibition doubles match against fellow ATP No. 1 Club members Andre Agassi, Patrick Rafter, and Lleyton Hewitt at the Australian Open in January.
