With a convincing 33-23 victory over Dabang Delhi in a Pro Kabaddi Season 12 game on Saturday at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, the Bengaluru Bulls solidified their spot in the top eight.
In addition to recording the most raid points by an international player in a PKL season, Alireza Mirzaian recorded another Super 10.
With Yogesh and Deepak each recording three tackles and Sanjay recording four, the Bulls defenders contributed as well. Additionally, the victory puts the Bengaluru Bulls in third place in the standings.
Akshit Dhull and Mohit Deswal led the way as the two raiders as Dabang Delhi took a three-point advantage in the first few exchanges. Prior to Aashish Malik opening the Bengaluru Bulls’ account and their captain following up with a tackle, Surjeet Singh marked the game’s first tackle.
The two teams played to the Do-Or-Die strategy, which led to a calm start. Thanks to a few tackles from their defense and a goal by Alireza Mirzaian, the Bulls took the lead. However, after ten minutes, the Season 8 champions pulled even, with the score at 6-6.
As the game entered its last ten minutes, the Season 6 winners had an eight-point lead. By creating a Super Raid, Alireza Mirzaian further cemented their dominance.
Dabang Delhi let up a second ALL OUT after Mohit Deswal tried his hardest to keep them in the match, with Sanjay scoring once more.
Consequently, with five minutes remaining, the Bulls maintained a fifteen-point advantage.
