PKL: Bengaluru Bulls dominate Jaipur Pink Panthers in thrilling away win

In the first match of the Jaipur leg, the Bengaluru Bulls defeated the Jaipur Pink Panthers 28–23 at the SMS Indoor Stadium in Jaipur on Friday.

With eight points for the visitors that evening, Alireza Mirzaian topped the raiding department, while Deepak Sankar recorded another High Five. Although he did not receive enough assistance from his colleagues, Nitin Kumar scored eight points for the Pink Panthers.

Alireza Mirzaian delivered the opening blow as the Bulls immediately exemplified the Season 12’s aggressive style. In the early going, Deepak Sankar gave his team a two-point lead with a tackle on Nitin Kumar. Deepanshu Khatri’s tackle tied the score in a calm opening to the game, and Ali Samadi’s raid for the Pink Panthers answered.

As the two raiders kept their team’s scoreboard moving, Nitin Kumar accessed his account and received assistance from Ali Samadi. After ten minutes, the two teams were tied at five to five thanks to the efforts of Sanjay Dhull and Aashish Malik for the Bulls.

The Bengaluru Bulls reacted with not one, but two Super Tackles from Deepak Sankar after the Pink Panthers gained some momentum and created a three-point lead. In the first half, the defender helped his team regain the lead by completing his High Five.

In the latter minutes of the first half, Alireza Mirzaian settled into a rhythm that helped the Bulls increase their lead. With the score at 16-9 at the end of the first half, the visitors took advantage of the momentum and gave the home team an ALL OUT.

Nitin Kumar had a great start to the second half as the home team tried to rally with a few early attacks. But thanks to Alireza Mirzaian and Satyappa Matti, the Bulls managed to maintain their seven-point lead. The Jaipur Pink Panthers had to fight hard to stay in the game at 21-15 going into the final quarter after Deepanshu Khatri was given a yellow card.

With five minutes remaining in the game, the Bulls continued to chip away at the ball point by point, establishing a commanding lead. Unfortunately for the Pink Panthers, Deepanshu Khatri’s second yellow card ended any chance of a comeback. Satyappa ultimately recorded his fourth tackle of the evening, while Alireza had a great finish to help the Bengaluru Bulls win the PKL12 for the third time in a row.
