
The most recent ICC T20 rankings, which were released in Dubai on Wednesday, saw Indian spinner Ravi Bishnoi rise to sixth place and left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh climb to tenth place.
The three Indian bowlers, Bishnoi, Arshdeep, and Axar Patel, rose one spot each to sixth, tenth, and thirteenth place, while Varun Chakravarthy is still placed at number four.
With 829 rating points, Abhishek Sharma remains the top batter, followed by Tilak Varma in second place and captain Suryakumar Yadav in sixth.
However, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is one of the five reserve players and was left off of India’s 15-man squad for the Asia Cup, dropped one spot to 11th place.
Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad both moved up one spot to take 26th and 34th place, respectively. Hardik Pandya continues to hold the top spot among all-rounders with 252 rating points.
After the tri-series between the UAE, Afghanistan, and Pakistan ended, the T20I rankings were revised. In the final, Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 75 runs to win the title.
The ODI batting rankings remained unchanged, with India’s Shubman Gill at number one in the world, skipper Rohit Sharma at number two, Virat Kohli at number four, and Shreyas Iyer at number eight.
However, Kuldeep Yadav of India fell one spot to fourth place in the most recent ODI bowling rankings, while Ravindra Jadeja fell two spots to tenth. Additionally, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj dropped two spots apiece to take 14th and 15th place, respectively.
