India hold firm at No. 1 in ODI Rankings after annual update

After the annual update, India is still at the top of the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings, but their advantage over New Zealand has shrunk from eight to five points.

After the update, New Zealand earned two points to reach 113, while India dropped from 119 to 118 points. With an unchanged 109 points, Australia, the current World Cup winners, are in third place.

The sole change in the top 10 is that South Africa (102) moved up to fourth place, surpassing Pakistan (98).

The difference between the West Indies and ninth-place Bangladesh, however, has changed significantly, rising to 10 points.

Other changes include the United Arab Emirates surpassing Canada in 19th place, Ireland surpassing Zimbabwe to 11th place, and the USA surpassing Scotland to 13th.

Australia is at the top of the Test rankings, but India is also at the top of the ICC Men’s T201 Rankings following the annual changes last week. In both the Women’s ODI and T201 rankings, Australia is at the top.
